Did any of you know the AAM.SH in FA was actually built for the SM-6 decades before the missile design was finalized? That is why it is such a large missile. Much bigger than the standard SM-2,3 missile... That had to come from the Jane's Airborne Missiles info used for FA. They did a remarkable job considering they only had mockups to work with for data. THe missile was then called SM2/ER for extended range... The missile body shape in FA is a little to short and the missile dorsal fins are located to far down the missile body, but the rest isnt that bad. They did make some mistakes on the booster by squaring off some edges but that can easily be fixed as well as the incorrect missile fins that were built wrong. It looks like the missile shape was built in a hurry but I dont think its used for any missiles in the game. Just built and then not used... Like some other items in FA.
