A while ago, a good friend of mine from France sent me a french version of FIGHTERS ANTHOLOGY. I just installed it on my computer yesterday. I was expecting the spoken language to be in french. However, even if all the writings are indeed in french, the spoken messages are all in english. TBut they are translated in french on the bottom of the screen. I highly doubt that there is a setting somewhere to turn those spoken messages to english, or is it? Having a french version of FA is to me like "the icing on the cake", only thing is, that particular icing "flavor" is not absolutely perfect... I am still happy about it, though. Just my undervaluated Canadian 2-cents. FlatulentFox Unusual ideas from an unusual flyer. |

I had the German version first. I payed a fortune to have the US version shipped here, because the different language versions dont interact too well online. |

The sound effects within the game are universal.. Those voice files have to be replaced with french language equivilents that you would have to create on your own. You may be able to obtain help doing this from the CheckSix website(French flight sim support site) as I used some Falcon 4 voices for new versions in FA Futures and they may have french versions already in existance that you can adapt to FA yourself...
