I just downloaded and installed , then rebooted, the french patch for FA
from Centurian's site.
I was kinda expecting that it would resolve my "problem"; having just
aquired a french-version of FA but having the talkings in it still in
engish, even if ALL the writings were in french.
But the french patch didn't resolve that "problem":
"They" still spoke in english.
My question is this: what are the differences between the FRENCH and
ENGLISH patch for FA? (and GERMAN too?)
Oh, I also have the engish version of FA on my computer, patched with
the french patch. I even went online on hypperlobby a few times with it
last year.
I'd really love to have FA "talk" to me in french.

Unusual ideas from an unusual flyer.

The patch only restricts the fps rate to about 55 fps for all online flyers. FA users with fast PC would have an advantage over those that have slower PC's if it weren't for the patch. The FA102 patch doesn't do anything else to the game.

I think it resolves some ABA issues

German and French versions have English sound, there is no German or French sound. But they cause some problems in multiplayer, even with the patch installed

hmm think I should take that off my site (the french version)

Doesnt the french version amke all the AI soldiers, sailors and pilots bail out, dive into the ocean, or drop their rifles and run away?

Oh yes I forgot it also makes them abandon any vehicles they are in at the time!
