Just got FA in the mail...downloaded it...and that seemed to go fine...But I am curious...is all there is to the FA file on my hard-drive after install....just one folder...with no sub-folders within?? That seems different than most games I've installed....only 106MB? with full install?

Also, when I go to install the 1.02 patch....it asks about my windows/systems location...and if I want to install there....DO I??

I just want to make sure the patch is installing to the right place and that it won't effect my XP system....considering the game was made for Win95/98.....

just looking for some more advice....thanks to all....

I am glad you posted your question, as I too, will be wrestling with this issue. I have not received my copy of FA yet. I am still waiting. But I also have XP, and want to ensure I do things correctly the first time.

Yep, thats it.
The file structure is like it should be.
It's asking if it should overwrite the newer EA.EXE that's the F/A-18 one ...
NO keep the newer one.
And yes you gotta have the 1.02 patch to play online.
Install it to ...
C>JANEs>Fighter Anthology
(if you installed to default location ... recommended)
Everything else is optional.
BUT .....
I do recommend the new FA-NO-CD .... here via ZEPHYR's site.

You will lose the intro movies, but heck its worth it.
