Hey guys anybody jump in here that can help.

QUESTION #1
OK, first question does anybody have a list of the missions used in all the stock Campaigns, and their progression including any success and failure branches that may apply?

QUESTION #2
I'm pretty sure using the ToolKit I can access these missions and replace them with mine I want to use in my Campaign, but have any of you done this? I know this is the way Jim Garwood did his replacement NAMstuff2 Campaign, but can it be done with the others in FA?

QUESTION #3
Is it possible to create a Campaign from scratch, what tools or editors might help? this would be ideal as it will be in the form of a lib and would not screw up any existing files, or Campaigns already there?

I've already found a few things like the fa_cams (the extracted Campiagn files) at ZEPHYRs, but I'm hoping that you guys that have done this and are the experts, can, and will add to this string so that it becomes a tutorial for anybody else that want's to attempt building a custom Campaign. Thank you for you input, and please try to stay on the topic ... I.E. building Custom Campaigns.

1.
Ukraine: ~U01 - ~U50
Kurile: ~K01 - ~K035
Vietnam: ~T01 - ~T25
Baltics: ~B01 - ~B40
Egypt: ~E01 - ~E40
Vlad: ~V01 - ~V40

2.
Best thing to do is such. Build hte missions and name them like A001 or something like that ya know. Then edit the CAM file in teh mission area to your specific missions. This is how I make all my campaigns and it works best. Using the default names can arise odd thing ssometimes (i.e. in Kurile when the E-8 flight tells you where to go, or the Aeroflight thing) I presume all has to dowith the filename so I avoid defalt names.

3.
Well it's sorta possible from scratch. Mission, maps, weapons, all of that can be modified but if you are talking making a campaign file (.cam) from scratch then it's just a bad idea. It would take hex editing to an ultimate degree. I don't even think Cag with all his knowledge of hex would even want to try that. So basically just edit over a campaign.

Regardless you need to replace one of the six campaigns, you can't add a seventh by any normal means that I know of or any for that matter that I have heard of. Basically just pick a campaign with the set amount of missions, 25, 35, 40, or 50, make the missions, and overwrite a campaign.

If you hit my tips section there is an entire bunch of tips devoted to campaign making and such, which should provide the most insight.

OK, you guys are making a Giant Mistake...

You need to stop looking at FA development in the old 'tollkit' or 'works for me' way...

With access to ALL the files that we now have, you can edit any of these missions and overwrite the default names and not have to wrry about the radio message limitations because the MC code calls to those radio messages are now aloso editable and you can now make your own detailed radio messages to substitute for them.

Everything is available now. This in turn means everything is editable now...

Now more 'toolkit tips' as the toolkit has become redundant...

CAG out...

The toolkit is like the F-4. It may be obsolete for some but it certainly is a potent tool.

I can add modifying the Toolkit to FA-2 standard after we release FA-2 Stage 1...

That way everything in FA-2 Stage 1 will be third party editable...

ALl through a new toolkit...

If I have any time that is! LOL!

Key phrase in this is "after."
