Am I missing something? Or does this bridge only have end section and middle section? No center support sections(towers) for the middle sections to tie their cables to? Like a real suspension bridge?

As far as I know that is correct. It is meant to be used as end - middle - end. If you want an extended bridge I use the medium bridge and build a bunch of middles. See the towers on the suspension are on the end pieces so...

So, I should add the suspension bridge to the list of shapes that needs to be corrected in FA... What good is a large suspension bridge if you cant build it better...

With the work I have been doing on shapes for FA - 2 I should be able to create a middile tower by mirroring the end shape so that it has the suspended roadway on both sides instead of one side and the other side having the access down to the roadway...

Thanks Cent...

CAG out...

Hey, why is it impossible to get vehicles to cross a bridge? When I put trucks and the like on one, they go below the bridge and into the water.

They are two dimensional shapes and it doesnt support the vehicle... same problem with regular ships in FA... Not 3 dimensional shapes...

Are you planning on making them 3D, so that they will support vehicle?

Well at this point Eagle I plan on haveing bridges like they do in F4... where they support vehicles and they are at ground level, instead of projecting up into the air just to get up onto the bridge because FA is basically a flat world.

I am hoping to make FA_2 have bridges over water or canyons that are BELOW ground level like a gorge or a deep ravine...
