I have been successful at combining some 2 dimensional 'hidden' shapes within FA to 'form' new vehicle shapes when coupled with existing 3 dimensional vehicle shapes...

As an example.. The new Avenger ADS (hummer with stingers)will have a missile launch turret with missile cannisters and antennas, the new ZSU-23-4 mobile AAA will have a new Gun Dish radar dish, and antennas. ALso antennas and radar dishs will be on a completely new series of radio direction finders, jammer vehicles, and mobile radar vehicles.

A new M-901 ITV vehicle will have a tow launcher(in the elevated position). SA-8 SAM will now have a functional radar dish, The M-2 Bradley IFV will have a TOW missile launcher attaced to the turret. Its sister M6 Bradley Linebacker SAM will have a stinger launch cannister attacted to the turret...

Also new vehicles with very detailed skins will also be available, such as the M548A3 tracked cargo carrier. This vehicle will have a canvas covered cargo area and a glassed in cab, on a fully tracked chassis. Also all new MBTs with highly detailed skins, such as the current M-1A2 Abrams in the current release of FA Futures. One such new tank will be the new South Kroean K-2 heavy MBT...

The list so far is over 56 new ground vehicles, and many more on the horizon...

All new graphics for the ground troops. All infantry will have totally new graphcis of a highly improved nature, for all combatants...

Also new AAA sites, with controlling radars, will now be targettable, just as the current SAM SA-3,4, and 6 sites are in FA Futures. If you target and destroy the Son-9 Tin Can radars, the sites ranges will be cut in half and the KS-19 guns will be unable to engage you above 13,000 feet or farther then several miles from the guns(this is realeastic backup optical sight capabilits for these guns). Plus the sites will still retain the functional 'look' of muzzle blasts as they fire, in either radar or optical mode...

New weapon shapes will also be available... parachute retarded antirunway and anti personnel munitions from the JP233 munition launchers, attached to a flight model improved version of the Tornado IDS in new RAF colors... You use these weapons, you will see roughly 600 indiviual bomblets descend via parachute with much more extensive destrucion graphics and long lasting explosive effects...

New improved terrain has been added with many more mountians placed in realeastic locations throughout the Korean Map(so far, soon to incorporate ALL maps within FA)...

Many such improvements will be available in FA-2/FA Futures...

Expect some of these improvements to go to Beta testing before the end of November...

CAG out...
