After I bought new video card (Geforce 4 FX 5200 with 128MB) to replace crappy Geforce 4 MX 440 with 64mb. When I started flying FA, I noticed taht mouse began to become VERY choppy all over, and sound are screwed up!

What could cause these problem? Anyone experienced this before?

Reinstall completely. That's going to fix your problems. Secondly, update the GeForce drivers and finally turn off vertical sync.

Need little help, I can't find where to disable vertical sync in VIDIA control panel!

Argh! PROBLEM IS NOT FIXED! The mouse is still choppy as crap all over, and it took me FOREVER to move mouse to touch button, briefing mission, aircraft, and then weapon load. It took me at total about 10 minutes to complete that instead of less than a minute!!! THIS IS GETTING OUT OF HAND, and I need help!

It used to be smooth as baby's butt before I updated that video card, and I have no idea what did I do to damage Fighter Anthology?!
And Centurian, yes I did completely reinstallation, and disabled vertical sync but it doesn't fix the problem I'm having!

:(

I had simular problems with a GForce FX card.
Two games I could never get to run properly where:
Wing Commander Prophecy
JANE's Fighters Anthology
Ended up I liked them more than the newer title that would not run, and forced card update.
I finally gave up, and went back to my old MATROX card.
But I sure am interested in this string, and would like to use that card if I could.

IIRC the graphics in FA are not hardware accelerated. If the Nvidia display setting of VSYNC on/off applies only to applications that are accelerated by the card (as I think it does), will the VSYNC settings apply to FA?

Eagle114th, does only the mouse lag in FA? That is, with the keyboard shortcuts does the game run at the correct speed (example, press Q when in the main menu to go to Quick Missions), and does the in game graphics (flight) run smoothly?

Yes, they ran smoothly EXCEPT when having to select different aircrafts and weapon load when you had to use mouse!

*sigh....*

Vertical Sync must be off. It lowers your FPS and does all sorts of bad things. By turning it off you can play anything without problem.
