Do you have any suggestions you'd like to offer? I have the following list already comprised.

  • Change all weapons to MPH & alt to NM
  • BGM-109s to RGM-109
  • UB-32-57 instead of UB-13
  • AT-2 to AT-6 (?)
  • Name changes and further fixing
  • Su-25/39 Yaw Rate (WTH is going on with it)
  • Modify ships for SM-2ER carriage and VLS capability

BTW Cag, what shareware shapes do you have ready? I'd like to use some of them if you don't mind.

Get all of CAG's new shapes and put them in without making the game too complicated. I can't get FA Futures to work on my comp.

Why not? Its pretty straight forward installation procedure.

What are your system specs and what problems are you having?

CAG out...

My systems specs check out by plenty, but last time I installed it, the screen would black out when I tried to play it.

Then, my computer crashed a few days later, and I updated it to XP.

Your troubles are not related to FAF. FAF does not cause a screen black out, as it does not change the game's video driver or resolution.

There is also a specific version of FAF for XP...

Perhaps you should of read the install read me files a bit closer for proper installation procedures...

CAG out...

What filesystem are you running? FAT32 or NTFS?

CAG

I tried FAF before I had XP, CAG, and therefore I didn't download the XP version since I didn't have XP. Just to be clear, I got the non-XP version for a non-XP computer without XP installed on it. The problem, I believe, was my harddrive, which was replaced.

I don't appreciate your condescending to me at every opportunity... I may not be the number one authority on computers or aircraft, but i can read. My problems may or may not be FA/FAF related, but I am still reluctant to try installation again.

Cent

I have no idea.

double click your "My Computer" Icon then right click the hard drive icon and select "properties" it will tell you what you are running.

me too, and I still screwed up the FAF installation because I used the "touch" utility on one of the original FA libs instead of just on the new FAF libs. ANYBODY can screw up wheather they can read or not.

I'm not saying I didn't mess up, but I did read the readme file and I certainly didn't download the XP version for a non-XP version of Windows.

Also, I run NTFS
