I love the commanche, but I agree with KAP that its recon n is disappearing with UAVs and many other types of vehicles will be able to handle any attack roles it would have fulfilled.

I have to agree also... Helos, as a whole, are just to vulnerable to ground fire... and Ground fire is the threat we will be facing for the foreseeable future.. not radar directed SAMs...

The RAH-66 simply took to long to develop and is now technology without a real application...

Plus the facts are that the govt doesnt have the $$$ to field this liited system... you can buy 100 UCAVs like armed predators for the price of one Comanche...
