I dont think the Argies are mmuch of a problem now. last I have heard of them, is that they have been falling upon hard time, economicaly and politicaly wize. That is from a few months ago if not more. They seemed to been in bad shape. Not much of a treat.

Juan Peron (their socialist leader at the time) is gone too IIRC

It looks like Menem will win the election, though, and he was very close to Peron. There's nothing as good as a war to divert the attention away from internal problems, but no, I donmt believe they are much of a threat

Funny, that is the exact situation they were in the when they invaded the Malvinas/Falklands in 1982!

Exactly CAG- desperate nations tend to do desperate things. Take a look at Iraq-

They had been starved by the Iran-Iraq war into poverty. And what did they do? Invade Kuwait of course.........

THis pic should say it all on the status of the AV-8B in USMC service...

It is a pic of all three variants of the AV-8B II caught on camera in service at the same time in VMA-513, the flying nightmares...

Image

The three versions are(from front to back)...

1) Standard Av-8B II
2) Av8B II -Night Attack
3) AV-8B II + AMRAAM capable Harrier...

You can see the standard nose on #1, the sensor on the nose on #2 and the new nose for the APG-65 radar nose on #3...

Harrier is one wonderful plane. If only it would be used in a full on war with a forward airbase...hmmm campaign time!

Uhhh already done in USNF 97? Kuril Islands Campaign Cent? hehe
The Harrier is one up & down/forward & back bad*ss by the way, I'll def. texture that British beast after I finish a current F-16 project :)... And by the way the F-16 canopy shape is crapola, it isn't even the "bubble" shape or anything like it should be, so therefore it won't be textured. However I have figured out a way to make transparent canopies look way better: A. Removing those phony reflective light glares and B. Making a new pilot and touching up other interior pieces. Previews will become available once I finish the plane too. And after I adjusted the top view of the pilot it almost looks as though now that the pilot is "3D" from top angles.

Catch ya later...

No that's new news to me, sounds cool... if you need a new Harrier texture for the missions feel free to ask once I complete mine, which probably will be in the start of the summer. hehe no school = plenty of time to do tons of texturing :P I would really like to finish all my US NAVY birds, do some USAF and then the RAF. As for the CF-18? lol forget those junkers... Later
