I further compressed the skin size on the airbases and have succeeded at making all the runway markings and lights the correct scale to a majority of the aircraft in FAF...
So far they look pretty good at night with the new improved skins that no longer conflict with the night pallet.
Also I did the same thing with the aircraft carrier skins and further improved them via compression.
They now have appropiate lighting on the edge of the hull numbers on the flight deck and on the island.
I am in the middle of improving the Kuznetsov to the same level and removing the 'stretched' segments of the skins so I can create an authentic flight deck with appropiately lit parking areas and taxi lines and starup locations for takeoffs on the skijump...
I plan on doing the same sort of improvments to all the ships in FAF, so your night fleet opps will be very impressive indeed...
Also functional hangars and HAS buildings will be next, so you can begin and end missions within them...
