ok i just edited this map. i removed every objects on it and started to build my own map. Now that i am done (in create pro mission) i want to play test before i build the map using the toolkit. but as i choose an aircraft and click ok to play, the game crashes and it gives me the error "not enough memory"! I have a 512mb memory and 3ghz cpu. i dont think it is talking about my physical memory, is it? if not how can i increase the game memory ?

What filesystem are you using? This sounds like you are using FAT32.

And you have XP?

Make them both NTFS or else these problems with FA are going to be minor to what happens. FAT32 is unstable and XP is a stable OS. The mix of the two is like placing gasoline and a torch in a room while you rapidly raise the temperature.

ohhhh okay so you have XP on D and 98 on C. The problem is simple then. If you have FA on the FAT32 partition only use it with WIN98 and yes you will have memory problems out the ass because 98 is as memory efficient as a M1 is at conserving gas. Otherwise, just install FA on D and use it with XP.

I haven't had a memory problem with XP ever. I normally have on ICQ, AIM, Winamp, Explorer, FA, and FATK open at once and we're talking well over 1,000 item projects. No problems whatsoever.
