What happens if say I give an AI controlled F/A-18 the fuel load of a B-52, would it affect the planes performence or make it crash due to the weight?

Yes you can give more than 100% but it adds weight to the plane so.

can you go into more detail on the fuel line? I tried adding 200,000 lbs of fuel to an F/a-18 but it didnt work. does it not work if theres a comma in the #? do you have to edit the hardpoint values also? and do external fuel tanks get in the way of the fuel edit?

also i was looking at the default missions, and one of them is set in vietnam where you have to fly a low fuel A7 back to the carrier. i looked at the fuel line in the .m file and the # was 2, yet it still had 200 lbs in it.

there isn't any detail to go into

fuel %

so if you want 80% fuel

fuel 80

if you want to have 110% fuel you do

fuel 110

that's about it...

Then you're stuck with 100 as a max, and rightfully so, you shouldn't be able to load more than 100% of fuel into a aircraft, you know.

Or you could just put it in the air near the target, take off like 20% fuel, etc. and be good with it. I tell you unless you have an F-16C going 500nm you don't need to do that...

No solution except always keeping one version of the mission without loadouts at all times.

You could save yourself some trouble when reinserting your loadouts by using the FA Mission Extender. It makes adding loadouts much quicker (once you have set it up to recognize your own loadouts).

I'll try to fix the link permanently ASAP, I'm having some hosting problems.

Temporary solution:
http://rapidshare.de/files/11627419/fame01.zip.html

Just click the Free botton, and enter the 3 digit code to download.
