Sweet! That is something I always thought and wished of when I first bought FA over 10 years ago, and I am very glad you have pulled that!

And I hope you feel better from your cold, you must take care of your health first, becaues your health and real life is more important.

Have you seen pics of the new MOAB penetrator?
Looks like a 30,000lb version of the R-37 but with the AMRAAMSKI windmill tailfins.

Yes I have seen it, but do we really need to build it? Taking up a valuable weapons slot for such a bomb, that we really cant correctly model (no stabilization cute that will drop away) is not really worth the effort...

I have filled all the slots and would have to delete one of the exisitng weapons, not sure if I want to do that for a bomb you can only drop from a C-130 in totally controlled airspace... :?

No just wondered if you have seen it lol btw this ISNT the original MOAB that replaced the Daisycutter.

I have a good news.. I finally got FA CDs, thanks to help from my friends, and I have been flying FAF 2003 window xp editor for a while, I had a blast... Just like old time... But this time, I had far better experiences with your FAF than normal FA simulator. Even though missions/campaign is all bit strange to have ramdonly aircraft, like having F-8J being replaced by Apache, harrier by fuel tanker airliner, and etc... I thought it was quite funny...

However, I still managed to find a good missions that still have enemy fighter/ships and something like that, where I could fly with my squadron in specific missions... What a blast! I must say, you, kaptor and everyoen who worked on FAF have done an exellent job, and I know that this new versions of FAF you are working on, are full of surpises, where you would say... "FAF 2003 is just nothing compared to 2007 version!"

So I am very auxious, looking foward flying your new version of FAF, and here's drink to your team's hard work on FAF!

(cheers!)

On one small note, I was flying B-52H in anti-carrier mission, surpisely Buff have thrust-vector that can go 0 to 123 degree negative (using STOVL features), was that to simulate reserse-thrust engine? If it is, then that is brillant moves, I haven't seen anyone doing that before. It was efficient for helping me slowing down over half-millions pounds bomber, when it come to landing my fat-ass B-52H on short-runway when I don't see any long-version of runway...

:o  8)

There are one thing I must report you, just in case, you might have missed that part while your FAF are still in development. There are one thing that really bothered me, when I flew airstripe strike mission (Single player) in B-52H Stratofortress, after encountering Su-27, I dodged their missiles with powerful jammering system and some of evading turning, but when that pilot snapped into tail chasng me. That is when I fired M61 Vulcan cannon, but for some of reasons, it kept bloody MISSING su-27, even when Su-27 were only about .1 to .3 mn from me, that is not... excalty right. I knew that, if it was in real situations, B-52H comptuer controlled cannon would have torn Su-27 into many pieces if Su-27 pilot were stupid enough to chase B-52 from Buff's rear, just like when MiG-21 once got shot down by quad .50 caliber machine gun from B-52D in vietanm war (correct me if I am wrong on that part though).

So I thought you might could check that, and tail gunnery definely should have about 80 chance or higher of hitting enemy fighter at very close range, in my opinion.

Im off to fly FAF 2003 more, I really enjoy it and that is osmething I can do for now while waiting for your new updated version of FAF.
