The USS George H Bush CV77 was christen Oct 7,2006. This is the tenth and final Nimitz class nuclear carrier built for the US Navy. The launching was the first where a living President was preesent for the lauching of a carrier named for him. Bush'41 was Naval Aviator who flew a TBF Avenger in the Pacific in WWII.

CV77 will join the fleet in 2008.
We wish everyone that serves on CV77, God speed and calm seas.
:) Will the ship's motto be Stay the Course??
