Hello everybody,

my name is alex, live in GER and i am new in this forum. This is my first topic here. First thing i want to tell you is, that i am very pleased about it, that you are still keep this game with so mutch work alive. This fantastic game should never die.

Yesterday i have download a lot of Files from your HP, inclusive the
JKPFA 4.55 and the FAHELOS4 and some Missions. The installing procedure was no problem. All basic Campaign and Solomissions runs great with the new libs. But then it comes .... *gg*

I want to fly a Super Cobra with the fast mission editor. The game crashes and a message box appears. "Can t load TOW.JT" Hmm, my game version was 1.02 F and the two libs i called, are the only installed one after a clean basic game installation. Can you help me out of this mistake? What have i to do?!

Another problem is, that i can`t install the FA toolkit. During the installation it course a mistake. The programm can not find a File in my own Fileregister. Puhh, thats taff too, while i want to create some new missions.

Then i have a another question! If it is possible to create a complete new Campaign with weapon limitation and aircraft selection and repairscreen like the custom campaigns?

Welcome to the forum. You probably cannot use FA with both JKPFA 4.55 and FAHELOS4 installed at the same time. That could be leading to the error. Or perhaps there is an error in my JKPFA 4.55 with the Super Cobra's loadout. Try JKPFA version 5 beta for an improved version of the lib:

What is the specific file that the FA Toolkit can't find during installation? What version of Windows do you have?

You can make a new campaign, and I believe the easiest way is to replace an existing campaign. But there also is a way to make a new one which does not replace an existing one. I think I can rememeber the exact procedure, you will definitely need the FA Cam files:

thanks for the reply.

1.) Yes i have installed the two libs together. Don t know that that was the mistake. Thanks i will install the 5.0 beta and check it.

2) I use WinXP and here the the message during the installation

"error occured while attempting to copy file. could not locate file c:\dokume~1\Alexan*1\fatk.exc"

after that it aborts the installation.

i´ve downloades the FA cam-file and will check it. But first the toolkit must go (i think).

I'm not sure if I've ever heard of that error before. Perhaps you could try running the installation program in compatibility mode? Right click on the installer and choose Properties, and then Compatibility to see the options.

thanks for the help! the toolkit is installed. it works fine. also your mod jpkfa 5b works fine. the custom campaigns are now more fastidiously then bevor but always still great. hope that i will be able to create a complete new generated campaign with all screens like the custom campaigns.
