This missile is based of off development shots for the new long ranged HARM II missile shown in the Military Developments Forum here on Zephyrnet. It uses a ramjet engine with twin intakes and no forward conards...

I created a new shape and modified the skin of the existing AGM-88C HARM already in FAF Korea...

Nice shape and texturing. 8) Is there a good way to simulate SAM emitter shutoff in the game? I seem to recall passive radar missiles generally being less accurate in game than an identical missile with active radar guidance, but I could be mistaken.

I am not sure what you are asking? For a silent sam site that will launch on you without guidance emmitting? Or a shutdown to throw off passive radar guidance?

I havent seen any accuracy issues with passive guidance in FA...

It would be nice if there was a way to implement shutdown to throw off SEAD missile guidance. Of course, sometimes in game the SAMs/AAA will "become destroyed" and the crew will run out, but that's a little drastic.

Well with the human controlled part of the IADs on the FAF Korean Map you can do this, turning the radars off and on... and the new home-on-jam guidance you can lose the inbound missile if you turn your emitters off...

The really kewl thing is that the AI shoots the HOJ missile at you as well and you can only avoid them by going dark, but if you do you lose your ability to fire your radar weapons at them and if you have radar guided weapons inbound to you at the same time as the HOJ then you are in trouble as the radar missiles will get you instead of the HOJ missiles...

Adds a new level of difficulty to the game, as you need to learn how to avoid the new type of guidance and how to also avoid the radar missiles, thus requiring all new tactics, even more so in multiplayer!
