I have the same problem with USNF 97, which preceeded FA. The only luck I've had is to make a virtual machine and put windows 95 or 98 on it. You hear the music, but it's all messed up. I am really interested to see if anyone finds a fix.

Fan7 what is you operating system and hardware details?

Also did you do a full install with all digital music included and then copy the FA folder to your new system? Did you patch the FA install before copying it to you new system?

it's a vista 64 system with an i7 CPU, 6GB RAM... I'm using a dedicated sound card...

I installed the game on XP SP2 laptop, patched it and copy it to my vista machine...

the problem is, even in my laptop, I also couldn't get the midi music!

Again I ask if you did a full music install or not? You have that option at installation time...

Also I doubt that FA will ever work 100% on a 64 bit VISTA system...

I dont use the music at all. Its not realeastic. And the tone of the music changes when you get within rnage of bandits or defenses, giving you an artifical crutch...

So I just shut it down...

However, I do the full install with digital music, but I am running XP SP3 so I dont have the problems you do with your opsys...

I installed FA on a Windows 98SE computer, and Midi music works.

Sound card: motherboard integrated C-Media 8738

I could try recording the tracks into an editable format, if someone wants to edit them into tracks for Fighters Anthology installs with digital music.
