The website was toast yesterday afternoon and all night. The host service itself was totally offline as well...

I thought we were done for good when I saw them offline as well, but today the site is right back up and running...

It was a sobering experience, I suggest a weekly backup just to be on the safe side against data loss...

FA Futures/FA-2 is Still Being Worked On and Will Be Released...

I have completed an uptodate backup of the database as of 1/13/2011 and will continue to do backups to ward off data loss should the site go south permanently...

I will keep backups with the following struture...

1 Sept 1020 permanent backup
1 Monthly backup
1 bi weekly backup
1 weekly backup
1 daily backup

And I will try to maintain this window of backups as long as the site stays up on the net...

I will make more backups of this forum's database as well.

Yea its a good thing I had the backups from Sept because when they moved our sites alot of files came up missing and I was able to upload them from my backup folders...

They did a good job on our databases though, but I still recommend backups be done on a basis as I described above to reduce dataloss should something occur...
