Hello all. I'm new to this site, but I've owned FA since it first came out. I recently installed in again to tinker around with it, and I remembered the Toolkit. I download that, and got it up and running, but even with the key generator, I can't seem to get it to allow me to modify more than two objects.

Any thoughts on how I can get all the accessible features of the Toolkit or is that not possible nowadays?

I'm running Windows XP.

I'll put in the activation code, and it's like the toolkit doesn't recognize it or something. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Which code generator are you running?

Do you have more than 1 hard drive?

It's called fakey I believe (smiley face icon), and I only have the one hard drive.

So it generates a code and when you enter that code into the FATK it isnt working, right?

Never heard of that before. Was the FATK a new installation or copied from a previous install?

And your FA install was original as well?

All three installs were brand new. I patched FA to 1.02, and then ran the toolkit. I put in the code that the key generator gave me. I typed it in, hit enter, and it seemed to work. I didn't get any weird noises or anything. Then, if I mod more than two objects and put them into the lib to install into the game, it gives me an error saying I can only do two objects at once.

Peculiar right?

Where did you enter the code?

Did you use the FA CDs when installing the FATK?

(Its been so many years since I installed it I cant remember if it requires them or not, but I think I remember that it does require the red CD)

I don't recall on the CD's or not. I would've done whatever it asked me for during the prompts.

I entered the code in the activation screen that pops up when you run the Toolkit.

Try re-entering it into the authorization window you can access from the help link on the top menu bar. Its the last selection on the popdown menu.

I'm not sure what happened, but it seems to be working now. I just ran the Key generator again, popped in the code it spit out, and it works. Perhaps I was doing something wrong earlier.
