Well you can remove the blinking I for IR warning, but I have been unsuccessful in removing the launch warning tone itself, so I replaced it with the new IR missile launch plume warning from bitching betty. So far that works well and if you are not careful you getslammed pretty hard by IR missiles, especially SHORADS..

You could also just make the IR tone and lock a blank 0.1s clip...lemme guess FA.exe editing for teh I?

Yes on hex editing on the exe, and no i fyou cancel the sound then half the time you get no RWR warning of radar missiles either since the game sometimes uses the same sound for both. Its a game glich...
