Just curious, why should the gun be an internal bay?

Thanks to CAG, I'm now conflicted on which shape/pic to use. If I use Zephyr's shape, then what to do with the Su-37 shape? Any suggestions?

I tested the black J-20 shape (from JKPFA -- J20PD.SH and _J20PD.PIC; it uses MiG25_s.SH ). It worked for me. No visible tailhook (same with Su-37 shape) and the flaps were only visible from below.

Su-37 doesnt really resemble any active aircraft... More like a combination of them... Its single engine with canards and a double delta might be usable for the J-10... Does it have a chin intake...?

But that is up to you... At least it doesnt have missing flap panels...

The Su-37 shape has an intake like the Rafale.

I currently use the X-31 for the J-10.

The missing flap panels for Zephyr's J-20 don't bother me. I will probably switch to that shape soon.

Do you have the ability to build me a SU37?
Could you build me one?

Best Regards,
Pappy

Maybe. I guess it depends on what you had in mind. Only one or two SU-37s were built before the program was scrapped. Info from the -37 went into the development of the SU-35. So, you might at well use the SU-35 in the game.

However, if you wanted the USNF 97 version of the SU-37, I can look and see if I can extract it.

I need clarification into what you are wanting. More details, the better.

Could extract it from USNF97?

I found some old Janes NATO mission set that uses the SU37.
That is what I would like it for to play the missions on FA.

Best Regards,
Pappy

Here you go: [link no longer valid]

I was hoping I could just extract it from the '97 toolkit and play it on FA, but it didn't work that way.

There were some minor changes to the PT files from '97 to FA. I used the toolkits to perform some of the conversion tasks, and did some copy/pasting for the hardpoints and flight envelopes.

It operates fine on my machine. Let me know if there is a problem.

Enjoy!

How do I use it? :?
Can you put it in a file form I can just drop in the FA file?

I am not very computer literate. :)

Thanks for helping me!
It is greatly appreciated. :D

Best Regards,
Pappy

The plane loaded fine, but in the load out screen shows the internal gun loaded with 200 JASSM instead of a cannon.
I use Kapset lib that I enjoy.

Can you fix it?

Best Regards,
Pappy

You'd probably have to take out the Kapset LIB as the JASSM in that LIB is the same JT file name as the gun in the Su-37

Cent.

Thanks it works, but I lost a lot of items I enjoy in the lib.
Can this file be made to be compatible to the Kapset lib?

Best Regards,
Pappy

Open SU37.PT with Notepad and change the name of the gun to a gun name that works with Kapset.
