Good evening CAG,

this is a great news!

Can I ask if you have ever seen CWP (Commuinty Weapon Pack)?? The raeson why I want to inform you about it is because you inspired me to pour the countless hours into making weapons for Jane's FA. the quality may not be that great, but I did my best, especially not knowing how to add extra vertexes, indicies, or turning face (polygon) into textureable.

I am looking forward to download the waepon pack from you and see how you manage to make many things work!

Dont feel bad Eagle… I cant do most of those things either!

I was able to edit existing shapes to fit most of my needs… plus I was able to alter skin locations and compress larger skins files onto shapes for better detail, but I was never able to add additional polygons to any shapes…

Hello CAG,

Thank you for the reply and I see! I thought you were able to do it. We do the same methods by editing shapess, as well editing / creating textures. I have to admit, I have been doing low resolution skins thought.

I am looking forward to your higher resolution skins for weapons!

I would like to share some of the most challenging projects I have done:

Mk 82 Snakeye

GBU-54

AIM-7E (There are two version, with fins being in 45 and 90 degree angle, depending if aircraft fire them from fuseluge or hardpoiints)

AAM-3

There are many more in CWP, i posted the link in CWP thread.

If you want to use anything from CWP, please feel free to use anything ithat can help you with the projects you are working on.

Cheers!

You have your library… I have mine. They are different… We approached the development from very different directions…And mine is much older. I did the majority of this work back in 2005 and’2006… think people can choose from either, or both. I also designed my super maneuverable missile to work with a helmet sight edit I did to the FA exe file. But that was never released.. So our libraries are very different… You did a nice job on the Snakeeye and the JDAM and got the most out of those default shapes. I also added a GPS guidance option for weapons but that also required the new FA exe file so Im unsure how well my weapons will perform without it…
