lol, I always thought that the French gave them a shipment of Mirage III that was set towards Israel b4 the war broke out, then when the arabs invaded the French deffered that shipment to Egypt.

I know from other sources that the Egyptians got a number of Mirage Vs after the war was over, but I wasn't sure what their entire inventory was during the 1967 war (besides the MiG 21, Su 7)

No they kept them for themselves. Egypt was not within France's sphere of influence. So the Frenchies sucked up to em and kissed their ass and still didnt get anything out of it as Nasser never forgave them for the 1956 Suez intervention...

And as usual the French rammed it to their ally... This time the Israelis, by keeping the 50 specially designed Mirage 5s that Israel has already paid for in full and diverted them for free to the French Airforce..

The French are a bunch of bastards (dont mean to offend anyone), and I dont neccesarily think that due to the Mirage jets that didnt go to Israel. I hate the French because they put that embargo on Israel in the first place................

I swear the French have some serious problems............I think we should quit selling ALL American goods to them...............

What about the Soviet role in the Six Day War?

I know they had pilots and advisers hidden in the EAF (like they did in Korea) during the Yom Kippur war.

Did the Russians do that in 1967?

French always saw themselves as the third superpower when in all reality they weren't even the 193rd super power. They are a pathetic nation with the mentality that they are in fact a super power. I don't know if it is because they too have nuclear weapons or is it just them. I wish I could find out so I could nuke the source :wink:
