Ky3Mu4 has made a cracked exe of FA version 1.02. This provides a more elegent method for playing FA without the CDs instead of the old "Fake CD" method. It is simply a new exe and dummy lib files to be placed in the FA folder. It is available for download from the FARC's other files page:

Excellent... Can I get the information on what segment of the EXE file was cracked? This way I can alter the FA Futures EXE accordingly. There are to many changes to the EXE now to go back and attempt to make them from scratch with an original cracked version.

I personally don't know, I just tested it out after I recieved it via email. Check your private message inbox. I sent you the author's email address.

This gets beyond my personal recommendation guys. It works on every OS there is probably as I have tried it with Windows 98SE, 2000 Pro, and XP Pro and it works on all of them. Yes this is amazing, I do in fact love this and am using it on everything I have FA installed on. We need to buy this guy a bottle of wine or something, this thing is fantastic!

Yes it si quite excellent and I am adapting it to the FA Futures exe so that FANOCD is no longer needed... Much simpler use and much improved!

I just installed the cracked exe on my computer. It works good!
However, I am having a small "problem":
I have TWO versions of FA on my computer; the "english" version on
my D drive, "F-patched", cracked-exe, plays ok.
And the "french" version on my C drive, also "F-patched" with also the
cracked exe in it. When I try to play "french FA", it only CTD (Crash
To Desktop). Is it due to the french version being somewhat different
(save for the french-textes)? I don't have Ky3Mu4's email.

On a side-note, the french-version of FA have all the text/writtings in
french, but the voices are still all in english. Is it possible to do a lib
with the voices in french? Where could I get a listing of the text of all
the voices? (the chat.txt in FA don't have all the voices' textes).
I sure would like to have a "frenched-version" of FA!

Yea, I was kinda expecting these kind of answers....

Being Canadian, of Acadian descent, I am french-speaking, but I also
speak/write english very well!
Here in atlantic Canada, there is quite a few peoples who don't speak
english. My aim is only to make FA more enjoyable to them!
(mostly kids)
So, is there a way (how?) to make a "fully-frenched" (LOL!) version
of FA? I mean, with the voices speaking in french? I already have a
french version of FA; all the textes are in french, but the voices/talks
are in english.
I could get some friends to record their voices in wav files.

Any ideas with my problem (CTD) with the FAno-CD when used with
the french version of FA?
