We might move to Gamespy, but that's all subject of the meeting. Im not sure where the meeting will take place, but I think it'll be in HL itself.

It'll be on Saturday 0730 CDT, thats 0830 in New York, 1230 Zulu

It is possible that the message on Jiri's page is not genuine and is just a hack, but I dont have much hope.

There was this message about an FA IRC channel. Nobody used it, but it should still be there. Wasnt the message about it on this board?

You can count on me one of the original flyers to be at this meeting, only immediately suggestion I currently have is GameSpy or the old JCN Backdoor. And the Backdoor is currently out of the question as there isn't any authenticity, anyone can use any name - no passwords needed.

However replied posts have said Jiri has been all holidays lately and this could very well just be a hack. By the way once we do finalize a place to fly it be nice to see some people from here flying ie. CAG I've never seen you fly in all my time in FA, then again now you have yourself up to the neck in word so it's all gravy.

Jimbo, I flew the FA and F4 ladders at the old 714 VFTS against over 100 combat pilots for 3 years and was never defeated...

I bet I could shoot your ass down in a base defense gun. I've had practice, seeing as how I was thrown into it so many times in ABA

I have heard the message about Jiri being on holiday and someone hacking his page, too. Don't know what to believe.

A base defense gun is indeed deadly and I have never had combat against one, just inside one... however they do not exist in air to air combat arens...

Plus they are toast if targetted with a Mav or a JDAM...

Yeah, I got a lot of practice in them. Cause I did some stupid things in ABA. For one- I'd always play in Kamikazi mode. Meaning that'd I just strafe things, then fly my plane right into them.

I never bothered with bombs. I also flew into the opponent a couple of times (when he was in something slow).

So we wont have that meeting tomorrow

There will still be a 77th squad meeting, but it wont be about HL and it will be on the 77th policy board, not in HL.
