Nah it's a J-8. Judging by the dark areas (probably blue) it is the F-8M demonstrator.

J-8 cause the wheels fold into the fusalge, the Flagon only folds into the wings. Plus the tail strake which I dont believe any of the Flagons used.

OK ladies that was a mini pic of a Su-15, althoug the J-8 looks lot like it.

Our next contender is:
Image

Ok same rules as before no cheating.
If anyone wonders why the pics are small, it is to make it harder to idenify as well as to hide any possibly country emblems, that may give away the aircraft.

Good hunting.

no, that's a J-8 for the reasons I stated. Plus no tell-tale double delta wing.

KAP still the source says it is a Su-15. Check FAS.org.

But I do see you point, I think we should get in touch with FAS.org and get them to correct the pic mix up, if it is a mix up.

Also Flagon has cranked delta wings, this one has straight leading edges like the J-8. Here's what Globalsecurity.org has in their J-8 pics section:

The new pic looks like the J-6 Chinese copy of the MiG-19SF.

The second pic looks like a MiG-15UB or whatever the trainer is. Now this latest one Zeph posted is of the JH-7.

I agree with Kaptor, because the wings make it so obvious. Though, I want to point something out, on the Su-15, part of the fuselage does open up for the wheels as seen in the picture below:

It's not much, but I figured that it's the principle that counts.

BTW- wasn't it a Su-15 that shot down the Korean Air Boeing 747 airliner over the Soviet Union?

Wow, a Soviet plane shooting down an American made one.........that's certianly a rare thing........
