Hi,

I have a few squadron patches, and would like to incorporate them on the noses and tail planes of my planes. Any way I can do a cut and paste/ relatively easy way to do this with good detail?

Thanks,

Uuuuhhh, I am GUESSING you mean how can I easily add these to the NOSE ART and TAILS section of the toolkit? Well simply go into nose art and tails (left and right) and cut and paste using your MS paint the graphics you want to use onto the default nose art and tails, just like you do when you are working on an aircraft skin...

CAG out...

Oh boy, I am not good at toolkit 101 lessons... Cent, Kap, or Zephyr are much better at this then I am...

ALso I have never modified nose art... just blanked out all the tail art in FA Futures...

So what problem are you actually experiencing when you create the new nose art?

I've heard of problems with squad patches and such, so I've never messed with them.

Hi,

CAG,
Am trying to open the choosexx.bmp file in PSP and paste over it, a resized picture of a squadron patch, however, whe I do that, the resized picture just doesnt paste over it, and the original sized picture gets pasted..

Say what? The Choosexx pics are the game startup screens not the infliught nose art...

THey also only display in a certain pattern, so to see your changes the best way is to change all of them...

But again its only the game main screen and it is not seen on aircraft within the game...

The 369th has it's own tail-art and I have added some to the TK along with NoseArt for GR6. It's the same way you'd do screens and stuff like that just got to do them for left and right for tail-art and for nose-art just the one picture. They're easy and pretty small actually.
