I hope they buy more... They are easy targets in today's environment against an enemy with true air defenses.

If you don't have Stealth you don't survive. Period.

Russia will stick to the schedule on supplying Su-35 fighter jets to China under a military-technical deal between the two countries, Khabarovsk Territory's Governor Vyacheslav Shport told Sputnik on Wednesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — In September, the governor said that the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association (KnAAPO), part of the Sukhoi Aviation Holding Company and one of Russia's largest aircraft manufacturers, plans to supply four Su-35 to China by the end of the year.

"I can say that today, all issues of supplying aircraft equipment as part of military-technical cooperation are proceeding strictly on schedule at the aviation enterprise located on the Khabarovsk Territory, and will be complete before the deadline specified in the contract. It's under my supervision," Shport said.

Earlier in November, the head of the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) said that deliveries had not yet started but that the deal's implementation was underway.

Russia and China signed a contract on the delivery of 24 Russian Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jets, estimated to be worth $2 billion, in 2015. The Su-35 (NATO reporting name Flanker-E) is a 4++ generation aircraft employing technologies of the fifth generation, designed by the Sukhoi Aviation Holding Company. The fighter jet is an upgraded version of the Su-27 multirole fighter. It was first introduced to a foreign audience at the 2013 Paris Air Show.

The first image of a PLAAF Su-35 taken on the day when it was delivered from Russia is shown here. It was reported in November 2015 that China finally signed the contract with Russia to acquire 24 Su-35s (Su-35SK?) for $2b after years of rumors. The delivery of the first 4 took place on December 25, 2016 (4 in 2016, 10 in 2017, 10 in 2018), wearing a Russian style blue/gray camouflage. They were rumored to enter the service with PLAAF 2nd Division facing the South China Sea. It might provide long-range escort for the H-6K cruise missile carrier patrolling over the West Pacific and over the South China Sea.

Compared to Su-35S in service with Russian Air Force, the Chinese Su-35 has the navigational antenna removed from the rear edge of its right vertical tail fin.

The aircraft is thought to carry the new L-265M10-2 Khibiny-M ECM pods at wingtips. It also has EODAS and LWR installed in its forward fuselage. However air-to-air missiles it carries (R-73/R-77) are already inferior to the latest Chinese designs (PL-10/PL-15).

You're talking about Algerian MiG-29SMT.

The cost price was taken into consideration in the sales contract according to the Russians.

Finally the Algerians refused this contract and bought more Su-30MKA (44 in service,14 ordered).

Best Regards, Mlad.

Anybody notice how old the Russian pilots look in that photo?

I wish you would not use my signature: "Best Regards" since I have been using for years.
I feel this is mine like my call sign, PAPPY!

So come up with something else original, if you can.

Do not underestimate China. Time is in its favor. The United States does not even dare to attack North Korea head-on, so China ... Pathetic

I do not underestimate anyone. I give information that's all.
We know very well the armament of the western side. Much less the armament of the rest of the world. Unlike you I am not an anti-American. I am deeply opposed to the deep state coming from your country.
the American population lives in democracy. It must be heard by its political leaders.

You post is very insulting calling me anti American.
I have grown up in America and have a better idea what being an American means than you.

You idealize Commie weapons and technology, but we have defeat them in battle.

As in my past post to you, words are wasted on you.

Best Regards,
Pappy

Not like you who are anti-Russian and / or anti-Chinese.
I am not a primary anti-American.
As I said before we are now living in a multipolar world
whether you like it or not.The US has its place in this new world that is emerging as the rest of the states of this planet.
it requires a fair balance under the authority of the UN and respect for the territorial integrity of nations.
