No they dont cause any crashes... They can render a radar useless though if you don't get them just right for the radar you are trying to model...


No no I mean crashes like you load in the LIB but you put the wrong JT and don't upload it or you have an odd # of items in a bad way and the game CTE's.


Ahhh yes... I have to add certain files to FAF libs to keep the game stable. Have not taken the time to study the issue sufficiently though to understand if its rhyme or reason...

Nor did I (ever) - it was just easier to add another JT or PT or SEE or whatever and it was stable.

Radar Type : 1. Continuous Wave 2. Pulse 3. Frequency Hop 4. Doppler

Has anyone done any research on these and noted how the game treats these differently?


Observations:

1. Default radars are either Pulse or Continuous Wave.
2. No object uses the following radars (in FA): E6R.see, F4.see, SU35R.see, SU37R.see.

Nope but I generally set the AESA to frequency hop on my LIBs and then CW or Pulse Doppler depending on what it is. I don't know if perhaps it does better separating out the targets at range or not, I've never noticed a difference. There might be one.
