I've been doing some searches for motion simulators, and I found
one that should be quite easy to build:

http://www.acesim.com/main.html

And a few other similar (more complicated) good places to look:

http://www.webcom.com/sknkwrks/flightsm.htm
http://www.inmotionsimulation.com/training.html
http://www.isdale.com/jerry/VR/VRNews_M ... Links.html
http://www.cadsoft.de/~kls/fltsim/
http://users.senet.com.au/~dunkleyj/menu.htm
http://vr.isdale.com/MotionLinks_2000.html

I also did find a few good stuff for "head-mounted displays":

http://www.shef.ac.uk/~vrmbg/vrhmhb/exproj.html
http://www.hitl.washington.edu/scivw/visual-faq.html
http://www.stereo3d.com/hmd.htm
http://vr.isdale.com/HMD_Vendors_1999.htm

And a few similar ideas sites....

http://www.rickleephoto.com/mosaicfresnel.htm
http://www.rickleephoto.com/rlcoll.htm
http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-and-a ... _id=0038A5
http://eve.hut.fi/thesis_janne.pdf (HOLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.................)

Some more interesting stuff....

Unfortunately, I've got none of this stuff.
But the acesim platform looks quite easy to build!
I was just thinking that you fellows might "get a kick" (?) out of checking
these websites.

I wonder, would it be worth/possible to add some changes to the
FA-2 to have some kind of "interface" to help connecting to a more
realistic homebuilt motion simulator?

Just, as usual, my undervalued Canadian 2-cents.

Unusual flyer with....
yea-yea, you know the rest!
lol
