the response is some like "old file not found..."

The patch needs to be of the same language version as the original installation. |

The error message indicates that some file in the FA directory is missing or of a different version than it should be. Thus I expected it to be the wrong language version. Have you tried reinstalling FA and then patching? |

Wait a minute: You FA CD is English? Or does it have Spanish text (I mean in game, not on the box)? |
