The two winners are ......

Spyder for his excellent image capturing the new SH-60 Helo taking off from a Ticonderoga Aegis Ship that was engaged in launching Tomahawk missiles agaisnt a ground target!...

His image (which will be posted on the http://VNFAWING.com website either tomorrow or the next day, depending on whtn the FTP server is back up) was from a unique angle and generated a very unique screenshot...

Second Place goes to Hard Hat for his 'collage' of screenshots merged together(originally I thought this might be a rule breaker, but he pointed out to me that its within the rules to 'merge' screenshots, though I had not thought of such a solution for that specific rule, but after I thought about it I decided to allowed it) to form one screenshot of a full SEAD engagement between an SA-4 missile site and his flight of F-16CJs armed with HARM missiles. The single finished merge tells the story of a full engagement from both sides...

This screenshot will also be posted on the http://VNFAWING.com website once the ftp servier is reactivated...

Honorable Mention goes to Jimbo with his excellent screenshot blending FAF into the twilight... Though no prize was awarded for 'honorable mention', his image will also reside on the http://VNFAWING.com website...

I would like to thank all 31 competitiors for their excellent screenshots and taking the time to use FAF in such a creative and beautiful way. I will be posting everyones submitted screenshots as a monthly revolving image on the http://VNFAWING.com website in the near future...

Also due to the success of this competition and the interest it generated, the sponsors are contemplating antoher competition for FAF Winter after its release. I will keep you all informed...

Thanks again for a great competition everyone and lets see if we can do another for FAF Winter in the upcoming months...

CAG out...

fraps doesnt work in FA.

SnagIt has got some problems in XP. For XP you can use Hypercam, but that can not record at much more than 3 fps (at least on my system).
