push the keys, and click either quick mission or single mission. keep holding it in quick mission and left or right click on aircraft type. instead of a pop up with the aisraft listed, it will just change. this will give you access to the atomic moth and the q somthing or other, as well as all other aircraft. if you click on single mission with the keys held down, it will give you access to all the missions in the game. also, if you hold down the keys and go into the pro mission creator it will give you access to more missions for editing. hope this helps. |

That will require the use of a ".lib" file. Not to imply you don't already know this, but in case you don't, in review of the useage of .lib files ... Just drag and drop them into the FA directory (folder for post DOS folks) to "turn them on". Just drag and drop them most anywhere to "turn them off". I personally keep all mine in a folder (directory) I create somewhere close to the FA directory, like one level up in the JANEs directory. I call mine FA_libs I find this very handy and once created I just extract any libs I download directly to this folder and then drag and drop which ever one I want to run at any given time into the FA directory and then back to the folder I created to "turn them off" and get back to stock FA if needed (mostly for online flight). There are many that will allow you to fly the choppers. My favorite one still remains CENTURIANs GR (Game Remod) Series of libs. In overall useage I have found them to strike the best balance between realism and stability. I think they are very very stable, and are supported directly by CENTURIAN in person right here to this very day. I would also like to add they are TOTAL remakes of the planes and objects, and they just keep getting better and better. He takes great care in the creation of his libs so that missions made with previous versions will run with the current versions, to me a mission building nutt, that is "cool beanz" You can find a link to his site in his signature on most any string here on this messageboard. (sorry I would post a link, but I'm on my work notebook right now and have next to no resourses on it vs my home desktop) Navigate to the FA section, then to his lib library. To recap ..... his name is CENTURIAN ... accept no substitues !!! P.S. Nice Sig Image ....... well done |

OK, If you are flying a quick mission, you don't need to alt-ctrl-or click anything, with the menu at the top of the quick mission setup click on the word "AIRCRAFT" and "check" all aircraft. If you are makeing "Pro Missions" with the mission builder again on the menu on top follow a simular proceedure and select all aircraft I think it's all the way to the right on top. The "cheat" may be able to be used during a Campaign, but I'm not sure. I am almost certain that if it will work during a Campaign it will void any medals you might recieve during the Campaign. All this being said there are some aircraft that do not support human flight and even though they have flight models they do not have some other needed things like cockpits asigned to them. One example of that might be the SeaKing, that is unless you or someone has modeled it in a .lib with the required atributes attached to it. There are libs out there that focus heavily on the choppers in the game, but to the best of my knowledge they are mainly the attack choppers. There might be someone here who has made all of them flyable like KAPTOR but before it's over with someone will probably ask you a silly question like why would you want to fly an unarmed Seaking anyway. If you simply must fly a bird like that I reccomend you get the FA Toolkit and try makeing a lib of your own because it seems a little off the wall to want to fly something like that .... but that's what's cool about this game. And if nobody has made such a lib you can break some new ground, and that ain't easy in this game. |

Actually you don't need libs to fly any plane (or helicopter, or even some ground vehicles, however you wont be able to use the ground vehicles' sensors). You just need to open a mission in a text editor and move the "controller $80" line to the object you want to control. |

I very highly recommend the GR mods by CENT. They have some choppers that are flyable, mostly attack birds I believe maybe CENT will jump in here sooner or later. TANK as always being a man of few words sounds like he has the ultimate solution, and I had to go and try it ... "cool beanz" I had to try out an FA TANK battle (no pun intended) As to Zephyrs lib, what I do with his is run the .BAT installer (I think that is what he uses) and redirect it to my folder where I keep all my .lib and then drag and drop it or copy and paste it into FA. I've never had any problems and just pay no attention to his readme as to the particular .lib files that aren't suppose to be there. Here is a link to CENTURIANs site if you want to give the GAMEREMOD a try. http://www.theforsakenoutlaw.com/main.htm I can't say this enough times ... It is a very good ideal to extract .libs for this game into a different folder, and then drop them into FA. The reason I felt like I had to renter ate this is that you are trying to use ZEPHYRs .lib and I think it has and installer. Very few user made .libs will work in conjunction with others so only one .lib at a time. If you manually drop stuff into the FA directory then you have a better ideal of what is in there so if it craps out you know what the heck is doing it. And here is another "cool beanz" tip ... again from TANK some time ago. You can make as many folders in the JANES directory as you want I.E FA2, FA3, FA4, call them whatever .... Then just copy and paste the entire Fighters Anthology into them. This was one of the coolest tips I ever got here, and right now I have a stock install of FA in the default location for online play, I got an GR one, and ZEPHYRs lib in another, and still one more with CAGs Korea remake. This way I can work on missions with which ever .lib and never worry about conflicts and or mix ups if I forget which freakin mission goes for what .lib |
