First, thank you for the interest in my humble little lib.
As with all libs it should be the only lib installed.
And like I almost always do when talking about lib installation ...
I recommend that you first extract the libs into a folder somewhere and then just drag and drop them into FA.
NEVER EVER extract into FA ... NEVER !!!
It's just a personal preference and even the ones with an installer or a BAT file installer I do not install into FA I redirect to my "FA libs folder" I create and then drag and drop them into FA.Occasionally I have crash to desktop with it also, especially if I have not used it in a while.
It will run trouble free for long periods and then crash if not used for a period.
Here is what I have to do.
Remove it and start up FA normal 1.02 without any libs in, and then reinstall that will fix it.Sometimes a simple reboot of system will do it, but the above remedy always works for me.
In my case using either 98' or my XP system I get CTD not at opening screen but when I select "quick mission" or "create pro mission" or ... "single mission"
It kinda bums me out to, because it just started doing it after the last update with the IAF Birds and Iranian F-14.
I have yet to isolate the culprit but I think it's the Lavi.
To any concerned lib builders since ALL the planes where picked up at CENT's site and available to all, I am going to post an open version on the next and last update which will only address the Soviet weapons maybe during Thanksgiving holiday. At one point I did have an open version of the SABRE vs MIG lib out there.
But there got to be so many different versions floating around and several people did not modify the opening screen to indicate it was an altered version that one day while trying to use it online with my old squad I told myself I would never post another open anything to avoid the confusion ... but since I seldom fly online or at all these days I will put out the next one open so that anybody that wants to fiddle around making a lib can use it as a starting point.
In the interest of spreading libs around anybody that makes a modified version and wants it posted I will put them up on my server as "public" files and send you a link to it so you can directly link to it from your web sites and or post and or emails if you send it to me. If this interest you just keep an eye on my board and I will be posting an open version 5.2 the next time I fiddle around with the toolkit.
On the opening screen it will say 5.2 OPEN and have an FETCHco SKUNKWORKS logo or disclaimer so people can tell it from the non-importable release of 5.2Dowload the FLIGHTLINE 2004 Screensaver
