i am running Microsoft Windows XP Home edition version 2002 - service pack 2.... my FATK is doing bull shit things that are making me go crazy! For instance, all I want to do is edit my AH-1 into a AH-1Z, any thing I do the previously un-edited AH-1 will CTD my game, even just the name change will cause it. similar things have been happening to my ordanance and other strange little things?? what the hell... as soon as i remove those objects from my project, it works again! but there are minor little things that should never cause hick ups! |

Try moving the object to a new project, and building that project as a separate library. You can then have multiple libraries in the FA directory with all of your objects. There might be better ways around this though. |

When creating libs in XP SP2 you should include the skin file, shape file, and object file inside a single lib or it will likely CTD, also do not go over 100 items per lib until you do stability testing on it or it will CTD... |

You can also try adding an AMRAAM to your LIB, edited or not, and/or adding a navy plane of some sort. Each of these things were needed by me at one time or another to build an XP LIB that didnt CTD. Welcome to LIBing in an XP world. |
