I have been looking back in the Zephyr net message boards, went to wrench's web page and looked through FARC's editing help, now I know the answer I want is out there, but can't find it.... so im going to ask, is fixing the swing wing aircraft a polygon editing thing or is it simple to do???

Don't quote me on this, but I think there is a swing-wing patch somewhere in the files section in the archives. Try your luck there.

i have the swing wing patch, but the minute I create a F-14A, that patch doesn't apply to the new shape... so I was just wondering if its an easy thing, because my F-14A is driving me crazy with the wings all over the place...

The swing wing patches replace the default F-14 shape with that in the lib, the ATF Gold shape.

So if you want to create a new F-14 shape based on the one in the lib, then copy the shapes in the lib to your project and rename them, hex etc. Don't use the default FA bad looking ones!

since i can't copy the items out of the swing wing patch, i should basically import the shape from ATF Gold, because I think I do have it somewhere? i'll have to find out how to import the ATF Gold shape probably

Isn't one or both of the two swing wing libs importable?

Import it into the Toolkit, copy the shapes and textures of the plane you want to your lib project, rename them and hex edit if need be. You can rename shapes by changing the file name in the project folder, and editing the ITEM.DAT file to point to the renamed files. All of this should be covered in my tutorials.

I plan on updating and adding to those tutorials. Maybe even to cover every single aspect of the Toolkit and editing that I know of.
