So does this need to be installed along with JKPFA 5.3 or is it stand alone?

JKPFA LIB with MODS is independent of other LIBS

Very cool - so you have a partial scan of the FA guide in here.
It's only up to page 102.

Do you happen to have the rest?

I have a hard copy but it's 24 years old so it's a little worse for wear.

This book takes 427 pages!

The missing pages are the game maps that you can see like this : Right CTRL-ALT-SHIFT when clicking on Load Mission in Pro Editor allows you to load any mission And then CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-V to save the page in .raw format in the FA directory.
But I think you already know that...

I put FA Without CD + JKPFA LIB With MODS. It takes 113 MB.

Yes it's a very big book.
They have every campaign mission and what to expect in them (objects, map, etc)

Several Mission Maps of Korea for use with FA Futures Korea Summer 2003 and FA Futures Korea Winter 2004 library sets from CAG Hotshot (or for others Libs).

These maps are for use when planning missions. They are of high detail and can be sued also for mission briefings.

There is a detailed map with bullseye and tacan channel information for use with Korea Summer campaign and another for the Winter Campaign. Plus a HUGE full sized

satellite map of Korea.

I found in my archives this zip file and I added a directory with files named "Extra".

- Reminder - The North / South Korean SAM Network

North Korea:

http://geimint.blogspot.fr/2010/06/nort ... twork.html

Update - Stratified antiaircraft defense

failing to have an air superiority,
North Korea has a fairly good ground based defense.
With an abundance of radars of different types and long-range, medium and short-range surface-to-air missiles, integrated by artillery and MANPADS systems, for a total of more than 12,000 different weapon systems.

As Pyongyang has not been able to purchase new generation Russian systems, such as the S-300 and S-400, the only modern ground-to-air system currently in use is the locally produced, locally derived, long-range KN-06 / Pongae-5. of a whole
first variant of the S-300 and its Chinese version HQ-9 / FT-2000.
Based on a 6 x 6 Kamaz 5511 and using tracking and guidance radar 5N63
Flap Lid produced locally, the KN-06 / Pongae-5 system was tested in 2016 (with success, it seems), but would not be fully operational yet.

For the rest, the integrated air surveillance system includes a network of detection and warning radars, consisting of old Russian models, types P-8/10,
P-12, P-15, P-35/57 and P-80, and Chinese JY-8, to which are added the most recent
Iranian Kashef, made by Sairan. At this network are connected the ground-air batteries, deployed in a stratified way,
starting with the medium-long-range systems, all of Soviet origin,
types S-200 / SA-5 Gammon, S-75 / SA-2 Guideline and S-125 / SA-3 Goa, plus KN-06
mentioned above.
In total, about 50 medium-long-range ground-to-air sites have been identified.

The second air defense ring consists of short-medium-range batteries, based on SA-13 Gopher, SA-6 Gainful and
probably more modern Buk or SA-11 Gadfly. Finally, the last ring include MANPADS of types Strela-2 / SA-7 Grail, 9K310 Igla / SA-16 Gimlet and
9K38 Igla / SA-18 Grouse, of which more recent versions have been realized
locally, as well as anti-aircraft artillery, of which approximately 250 self-propelled
57 mm ZSU-57/2, about as many self-propelled 23 mm ZSU-23/4 and several
thousands of fixed or drawn parts, KS-30 130 mm KS-19 100 mm,
57-mm S-60s and Chinese 37 mm twin-tube type 65.

In the absence of air combat capability, North Korea has, however, a real capacity to ban its airspace.

South Korea:

For more information about the KN-06 Surface to air missile,a Derivative (capable of hitting targets up to 150 km [93 mi] away) of the Chinese HQ-9/FT-2000 available in JKPFA Lib with Mods :

I never released a FA Futures Korea Winter 2004 library . Where did you get you hands on it? Its not on the FARC site either. You are NOT welcome to use it. Those Korean Maps are actually for Falcon 4 BMS. Not for FA. Dimwit.

It's done. The file "Korea-Battle-Planning-Maps.zip" has been removed.

Centurian57_369th , I will try to scan everything but it will take some time.

I have that actual book. Its a soft back. Its also a part of my Sim collection. I have all the books for the Janes and MS Combat sims as well as a few others. I helped DukeB-120th build up his collection back in 2019 and he has some of these books as well in case the download isn't complete.

I've been seeing them online at Thrift Books and what not but they're usually a little pricy.
Since my copy is basically falling to pieces, if I see one for an OK amount I'm going to snag one just to have so we have a backup too.

Download is 100% though works like a charm.

Hey all, okay so I thought it prudent to get myself another copy of the FA Prime Guide.
Mlad's scans are perfect but what happens if suddenly those get lost to time right?

It was $30.49 so not exactly "cheap" comparatively speaking but now I have a very good condition hardcover as a backup.
I'm going to basically put it on the shelf "to be used in case of emergency" and use the scans by mlad. I'm still going to keep my other hardcopy that is basically just disintegrating because while the pages are no longer in the binding, they're still intact. I might just throw some hole punches in them and put them in a binder, at least if we have to scan it'll be easy since they're loose pages at this point.

Small clarification. I don't see - despite some people molesting me in this forum - i wouldn't share the PDF for everyone. I am not taking sides, I like this simulator because it allows you to choose allies and opponents freely in a given environment.
This simulator has its age but it has a lot
potential even today.
