Zephyr... Do you remember "Jimbo" and his FA skins? He was in the old vnfawing yahoogroup and also early on in the VNFAWING dev group. I kept asking him for new skins for other aircraft. And where he got the idea for darkening the canopies...

That site is now dead, but I saved those skins. Adapted some of them to FA Futures.. Naval aircraft skins that he claimed were his. Great work, highly detailed.

Well I just found out where those original skins came from. They are from the old MLK site for the Miscosoft FS98 thru FS2002 for an F-18...

Yes, I remember him. I like the darkened canopies idea, and especially darkened windows on the aircraft and helicopters which have light gray opaque windows in default FA.

Yea that was why I adapted those skins...

If you want a copy of the original ones he adapted from FS2002, I can email them to you once I dig them out.
