Hi. I just made my 1st ever FA lib, and it has problems. I am writing for help with it, so if you cant or dont want to help me, u can stop reading :).

OK, here are the objects and the problems they have:

Su-50- At 10000 feet, it goes so fast it gets structural damage (is there a way to remove that limit?) At 1000 feet, it doesnt generate any thrust.

MiG-49-I edited the thrust, but it doesnt seem to have an effect. The ceiling isnt edited even when it should be too.

T-100- It works great against tanks, but the air to air missles never hit the airplane

Kamchatka carrier- How do you put a toer on a carrier?

Su-50 ECM-= Absoloutly perfect (thank god)

Su-50 RADAR- Cant tell, i press the radar button but the radar screen wont come up. it just says "radar ON"

Su-50 IR- same as radar.

Laser- It wont move. It just stays in the air, then explodes!

Thats it. If you can, please tell me how to fix the stuff. Thanx!

Oh yea and the any mission w/ the SU-50 is about as stable as an elephant on stilts. Any advice on that?

in the planes "conrol" page is the structural limits. No thrust at 1000ft? dont know how you managed that.
only the default file name carriers will get thier own tower automatically( CAG shut-up he's too new for that LOLOL) so just use one of the other towers and set it on your ship when you build a mission.

I'll DL the LIB and see whats what

+Go to the aircraft control and set this. Also check the envelope. They are in MPH and FPS, respectively.

+After you finish editing press OK on the mini-screen.

Well I flew you Su-50 and I have to say you got a lot wrong with it. First of all you need to go into the envelope setting and change the stall speed to something lower because I was doing 300 knots at 10K and it was stalling. You also need to fix the thrust and whatever it is you did with that Radar/IR the window not coming up is something to do with your seeker. If I were you I'd just start over, this looks pretty buggy.

Cent, easy, its his/her first lib...

The stall thing seems to be the problem at 10000ft. Maybe u set the flight envelope to have a ceiling of 10k?

Radar and IR window not showing? try pressing Shift-9 after seeing the RADAR on (Or IR on) message.

Also select advanced targetting in the in flight menu.

I'm going easy. It's easier to start over because it's 10x harder to sort out problems then just make new aircraft and such.

Please forive my ignorance, but why does the altitude on the flight envelope menu have to go up and then down again? What is the point? and in what way does it affect the sim (i know that if you set it to 200, 0, it will go 200 k at 0 altitude, im not that stupid, but if you set the max speed to X, and you set the envelope speed lower than X, will the plane be able to fly at X?) Im confused.

Each setting is a single point. You need to make a full complete curve so that is what you need to go around from start to end. Envelope is in FPS so watch out for that.

Ok, I'm still having some problems:

1: I set the G for limeits to maaximum (something like 3267) for both 0 and 36K and it still doesnt withstand more than like 1000 kts or something (I've never slowed down fast enough to find out)

2: I spent a lot of time working on the envelope for all 9 G's, and it doesnt help. I may have done something wrong. I set all the speed limits except 1st and last to 5000

3. Radar and ir still dont pop up. Its not a problem with the seekers, I hink it might be the airplane

4. I built the new Su-50 over the X-32 ASTOVL, and selected vectored thrust and VTOL capabilities. I specified the degrees (90, -90), but it still wont let me use vectored thrust.

5. Im open to all tips obout how to make the game as stable as possible (one out of two times flying the Su-50 for me will make the game crash)

My inexperience shows.

The speed limit you are encountering is due to other segments of the PT file that you used as the original template for your aircraft. Since your knowledge is to low to allow direct text editor edits to the PT file, I simply suggest you start anew and use a different aircraft as the beginning basis of your edits... You see, barely 1/3 of the PT file is addressed within the Toolkit... Your editing capabilities are actually quite limited until you learn what each line in the PT file represents and how to access and change them...

Which part of the Vast, immense, vastly immense PT file refers to the structural damage? i couldnt find anything on the guide.

Oh yea the first line on my TYPE OF AIRPLANE (1 seat, 2 seat, land, sea, VTOL) was 4f7, which doesnt translate to anything on your guide. wierd.
