I used to play FA a lot. Recently though, I've been oriented towards other games but I'm back. Can anyone summerize for me whats happened in the last few months, What exactly FA-2 will allow?

Also, I'm starting yet another weapons libs. My goals are to make realistic weapons from the 50's through the present. One question, is there a standard number value per pound of explosive. I see 200 and 300 damage points but what does that really correspond to and how do you figure out the correct numbers?

The damage points correspond to the a ratio related to teh hit points of the targetted item to overcome any armor to allow a kill..

THen you relate those points to the hit ratios in fuse area... THe size of the blast and the % of damamge a target receives from a promixity hit instead of a dead on hit...

I am unsure what weapons you will be building? Are you planning on contributing this work towards inclusion in FA-2?

Plus if you want to find out what is going on in FA - 2 then come and join the VNFAWING EGroup, as we are the core cneter for FA - 2 development...

I hope to include it in FA-2 if thats ok. My aim is to start an early 60's to to late 70's weapons pack. I really want to model all the obscure weapons of that period. IE, Genie, Falcon etc.

Just so you are aware....

There is afile buffer limit on teh number of weapons you can add to FA without losing fuel tanks and ECM pods from the selection menu...

So even if you model everything, I am afariad I will not be able to include everything... Just select amounts, depending on the quality of your work after testing...
