I have been successful at 'cracking' two new swing wing aircraft shapes to recolor them so they can be added to FA Futures and FA-2...
The Tornado is now available in two versions of grey... Light grey for F3(in both interceptor and SEAD roles and Dark grey for IDS/GR series, as well as its standard green (in both strike and intradiction roles). Three new skins have been developed for each of these shapes that are of the high quality(as can be obtained with this type of 'overlay' skin of these aircraft of aircraft, vs the detailed skins available on shapes that have individual panels to texture)...
The second shape is the SU-24. 95% of this skin has been recolored in medium grey(only the underwing leading edges of the close up shape are still blue). THe upper surfaces have been naval greyed, while the lower surfaces have been colored with a lighter grey... A new skin has also been developed for this aircraft to bring it up to FA Futures standards...
Also all stages, including the swing wings, have been recolored, so you do not see the old brown or blue as the aircraft gets farther and farther away....
Both shapes originated from ATF, thus they do not have the swing wing errors the FA shapes do and the wings swing quite smoothly and are not 'jittery' or displaced from teh fuselage...
Next will be new high quality cockpits to match these birds...
When all the work is complete I will post some screens of these birds...
