I noticed in Vark's lib that he puts several different types of ECMs on one aircraft. Why is this?

Well as Cag or Kap put it, if you separate Chaff and flare from ECM then if you lose one you don't lose the other. I do that in GR6 left and right and I also put specialized IR in addition to radar for heli's. It's a matter of lesser amount of objects and such, that's why I do it. Have some standard ECM systems, usual chaff systems and wind up with less objects.

keep in mind that computer controlled aircraft dont use jammers, they just wont turn them on in FA. They will use chaff and flare but not the jammers.

Its definately on my list and not to far off, I located the code within the game where the AI procedure for chaff and flare use is dicated. I plan to insert a command to actiavate jammers, as it looks as if this was originally intended, but left out to simply the game for users...
