Iran to buy MIG-31 Foxhounds. I think they would be the first to buy it?
i heard this on couple of different websites. here is some of them.

If I'm not mistaken, the first one is from JANEs in 2001.
And as far as I can tell the second one appears to be from 2000, but not 100% sure.

if you read carefully they were to buy them in year 2000 and it takes time for the ordered aircraft to be built and then delivered. Specially from russia where production budget is low and it takes time. Global Security does not release all aircraft information and some of its informations are inaccurate. It only provides information with enough evidence. For example iran is armed with SA-10 sites shown by some photos. But because of lack of evidence it is not provided in Global Security. Same with the Mig-31.

I have no interest in Iran and only mention this information because it's about a high tech Russian fighter. I only joined this website to communicate with different people from differnet places around the world and become pals. I live in Canada, a multicultural place where people come from around the world, any country you can think of.

BTW Iran does not have and will not be getting MiG-31s. Most of them are rusting away in the Russian airfields anyway.

Well do as you see fit.
But if I post dubious info I expect you or others here to question it. And just because we don't agree on something does not make us enemies.
If you do not want the stuff you post explored beyond the fact that you found it therefore it must be true you certianly are on the wrong board.
Some of our discussions here can become very heated and times but we seem to be able to remain friends and allies in our larger goals as web masters and lib creaters and simmers just trying to get the most out of the games we play.
If along the way we do happen to learn something or have our opinions expanded by one another that is just another bonus from comunicateing with each other.
And as far as that john992 guy goes, I say just let it slide, I'm used to it to a degree. But bad mouthin' ZEPHYR seems uncalled for. The fact that he has let me remain here as outspoken as I am from time to time goes to show his willingness to accomidate peoples of all opinions.
I hope that john992 decides to continue hitting this board, but it's his decission to make. And if he does decide to remain I believe he will with time come to see ZEPHYRs wisdom and thoughtfullness as a moderator, as I have over time.
That in large part is why we all end up useing this board and it remains popular vs the ones we have created.
