does any one know how to extract .sh files using the toolkit from game database?

You need to first go to Missions--Mission File in the Toolkit, just to create the cache file if it hasn't be made already. Then, download this cache file:

and replace the old missions cache file. Just move the new file to your Fighters Anthology/Toolkit/Cache directory. Then, in the Toolkit go to Missions---Mission File again, and all shape files will be visible in the list, along with some other files like HUD files. Just double click on a shape file name to save it in the lib, and the file will appear in the Fighters Anthology/Toolkit/Projects/Project name folder. You can then rename it (along with the line in item.dat), edit it in Airbrush, etc. See:

Zephyr, I tried your instructions on your homepage about how to make a shape/texture file without replacing the original. I followed your instructions. but when i want to open it with airbrush the program crashes. tried it in 98 too.

OHHH so thats the problem. heck i was using notepad. lol. well now im using XVI32 and it worked. airbrush opened my renamed files! thanx a lot zephyr.
