how do I make a weapon PHYSICALLY have to be switched on, like a gun, I can't switch to guns from my joy stick, I can fire a gun, but I can't PHYSICALLY switch to it without using the "]" key, I would like that effect for things that aren't weapons on my helo's like camera pods, mega phones, spot lights etc...

i dont know?? i thought it was neat, some people had special weapons that they couldn't just switch with the joy stick, it was neat cause it gave it that "arming weapon" type feel?

Under the hardpoints in FATK, choose Internal Gun as the hardpoint location.

What makes people mad is you ask alot of questions that are already contained the tips and answers that exist already on the FARC website and many other sites around the web...

well i have read most of the FARC, maybe I did miss a couple tips here and there for sure, but as far as other shit being out there, Im havin' a hard time... and sometimes it is just easier to ask a question then to go searchin for answers, I used to read alot of P.Mok's tips, but he's gone like so many old school FA sites

Easy, Kap, the guy just asked a simple question. Fortunately it had a simple answer, though I always thought it was annoying to not be able to switch to guns on the stick. I would do anything to be *rid* of that restriction, but Homeboy finds it more realistic, and it prob. would be in an old WWII bird.

I'll go "easy" if and when I feel like it, not when two noobs with diarhea of the keyboard show up and tell me to.
Why cant you switch to guns on your stick? If you just proggy the stick to the "]" key you can select whatever you have loaded, guns, pods, bombs or whatever.

I have done that before, but my joystick programming software is a pain in the ass; I wish FA already had a way to "stick-switch." But, ah well, if wishes were horses...

Might as well do it the long way around. Same effect anyhow.
