Nice to see you posting here -- and thanks for all the USNF Final Mission items.

I'm looking forward to seeing your "FA Advanced" LIB. If you'd like someone to test early versions of it, please let me know -- I'm game.

Btw, my own FA page (new in the past 6 months) can be found here:

Thanks for your reply. I'd love to have you play test it. I'm polishing it off right now, just a .wav here and and an icon there. That's a nice page you've got there. I'll have to have a look when I get done with this .Lib!

When I'm ready, should I just post it here?

JJ

p.s. It might be done in less than 24 hours! :)

Hello again, and thank you!

Here is the link: http://www.4shared.com/file/40336112/c7 ... anced.html

The download link is sort of down and to the right. It's really small and not very user friendly, but it seems to work.

Thanks for play testing it. I'm going to mail Zephyr and ask him to put it on the FARC - after you've checked it out, of course. If there are any problems, I hope I can fix them!

Thanks again,

JJ

Fantastic. I've looked over the ReadMe -- very nicely done, and helpful. And thanks for making this an importable LIB so that others can learn from it.

I'll give this LIB more attention later this evening.

Best,

I'm glad! I just hope there's nothing seriously wrong with it. I don't think there is after countless tests etc, but sometimes I was up until dawn so you never know :?

I'll wait for your response.

Thanks again!

JJ

Tonight I spent a few hours with your LIB. I sent notes on my observations to you via PM and to your listed email address. If you have questions, please do let me know.

Thank you for your review! I tried to send you a private message, then the screen went blank for some reason. Please let me know if you got it.

Thank you,

JJ

Yeah it was good. :)

If I have time I'm going to make a mission set for my .Lib, then I'm going to uninstall it and have a crack at some of yours from your page. That's a nice page and the .Libs sound more "advanced" than my FA "Advanced" :?

CAG Hotshot:

As I told JJ in the quickie review that I sent him, it's a nicely done LIB that mainly adds some excellent sounds to FA, dramatically boosting the immersive sonic atmosphere of the game.

JJ had a very clear, straightforward idea of what he wanted to do with his LIB, and he largely hit the mark. As a result, the LIB is very clean and uncluttered.

For those looking for a LIB that nicely enhances the stock FA game without radically overhauling every object from the ground up, this LIB is one to consider. And because JJ has generously made his LIB importable, other LIB developers can use the sonic improvements he's made, which are substantial and very well executed.

Best,

Eric L. Howes

Thanks Eric! I don't know what to say! :D

By all means, anyone who wants to import "FA Advanced" and use any / all of the edits I made, please do so!

I managed to finish a mission set for my .lib. It's called "Broken Silence".

Eric, if you would like to play test it for me before I have Zephyr post it, please do. Here's the link to download it:
http://www.4shared.com/file/40678451/79 ... d=ee1dc89c

If you don't have time it's cool. It's just that your review was really good and I'd like your take on my five missions.

Thanks,

JJ

Thanks. It'll be the last thing I release for a while. I'm interested in map making, but that'll take time.

Talk to you soon,

JJ
