Installed USNF'97 and patched to Ver. 1.4. Found flight effects way too fast so installed Mo'Slo and fixed that problem.

Selected 'CH Flightstick' and 'Keyboard' which allows basic joystick and throttle function.

However, when I try to use the file I mapped for the sim via my X52 - the mapping works but the sound is completely distorted (no matter what Mo'Slo speed I select or if I run the sim without Mo'slo)?

When I access the sim without the Saitek Profile selected, everything works fine (but of course I then have to use the keyboard).

Any assistance will be appreciated!

Regards,

J. P. Kelly

Hello and welcome to the forums!

What operating system are you running?

You should update to SP3. It is much more stable for these older sims...

After that I would try creating a brand new profile for the stick now that you have the game installed...

I have no experience with Mo'Slo ...

Have you patched these sims with the available Janes patches for them?

CAG,

All sims patched to latest version (USNF'97 to 1.4).

I'll install XP SP3 and get back to you with the results.

Thanks again for your help!

Regards,

J. P. Kelly

CAG,

SP3 did the trick!

'Still have to run Mo'Slo to reduce game speed but the X52 works fine!

Thanks again!

No, just run the patch on the Janes FA CD.

KAPTOR,

I'm 'running USNF'97 - not - FA (I've ordered it and have the patch standing by...). Does that patch work on USNF'97 also?

Regards,

J. P. Kelly
