Ok heres another problem. Now when i make a new TANK/APC/IFV or so forth the game crashes. And there seem to be reason for it.

Ok heres the problem, I have 30 files in the Army lib and when I add one more (doesn't matter what kind) the game crashes. But when I take out that last file everything is ok.

Are you using Windows XP? I've hard this problem with that OS and I can't explain it. Try putting the problem files themselves individually in the FA folder, not compiling. I've had some luck doing this.

You might be able to solve these isssues by creating the libraries in win 98 but running them in XP...

Well I may make many smaller libs so I can test my aircraft, viecles and ships, then put them into 1 or 2 big ones and release it.

With XP I noticed the following:

1. When creating a campaign, the *.TXT file cannot be in the same LIB as the missions & briefings

2. For some odd reason maps have to be in their own LIB, that means their terrain graphics too.

3. Sometimes the CHOOSExx.PIC files have to be in a separate LIB as well.

Nah, XP is great for FA if you create your libs in 98 with the knowledge of how to do so to allow them to run in XP!

Then you will have to struggle until I get some time to create a patch for FA to allow better functionality on XP...

CAG out...
